EARLY FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM

Course Overview

The Early Foundations Program is designed to support early childhood educators who are new to the field or transitioning into a new role. Through a combination of self-paced learning and coaching, participants will build a strong foundation in developmentally appropriate practice, positive guidance, classroom management, child development, and effective teaching strategies.

This program is structured to fit the busy schedules of early childhood professionals. Participants will complete two short on-demand learning sessions each week and engage in both individual and group coaching opportunities monthly that encourage reflection, problem-solving, and professional growth. Throughout the program, participants will receive practical tools and strategies that can be immediately applied in their work with young children.

By the end of the program, participants will have increased their confidence, strengthened their understanding of developmentally appropriate practices, and developed skills to create engaging, supportive learning environments for children and families. Successful completion of the program includes 12 hours of professional development credit posted directly to MiRegistry.
