Michigan AEYC and community colleges across the state are partnering to bring high-quality Child Development Associate (CDA) training to early care and education professionals in communities throughout Michigan. These local cohort opportunities are designed to make CDA training more accessible, supportive, and connected to college and career pathways in early childhood education.
Each community college cohort below provides the 120 clock hours of CDA training required by the Council for Professional Recognition while also offering college credits that can apply toward an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Eligible participants may qualify for TEACH Early Childhood® Michigan scholarships to help cover most or all costs associated with tuition, books, and the CDA assessment fee.
These materials were developed through funding provided by the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential.
